Impractical Jokers: The Movie auction to support military, first responders

The car that took the Impractical Jokers on their adventure in Impractical Jokers: The Movie can now take one lucky fan on their own journey—because the Jokers are auctioning off Brian Quinn’s ride to support military and first responders. The auction is live now at Charitybuzz.

That blue 1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria, affectionately known as “Grandma Lucia,” was featured in the hit film as Q, Sal, Joe and Murr drove from Staten Island to Miami for a Paula Abdul concert. Q has now autographed the vehicle and is putting it on the auction block to raise funds for Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the same charity that he represented in the Impractical Jokers Live Punishment Special when he walked across a tightrope to earn $50,000.

“I first learned about the Tunnel to Towers Foundation while serving with FDNY Ladder Company 86/Engine 166 in Staten Island, and it’s important to me to take care of the people that take care of us,” Q explained via press release. “Every road trip movie has a secret star—the car that gets the heroes to their destination. For us, it was ‘Grandma Lucia,’ this 30-year-old Crown Vic.”

Separately, Q is also auctioning off a Zoom meet-and-greet, also supporting Tunnel to Towers.

Tunnel to Towers honors the tremendous sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave up his life to save the lives of others in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. In Siller’s spirit, the organization helps U.S. military members, first responders and their loved ones around the United States, including paying off mortgages for Gold Star families with young children or families of fallen responders.

“Brian worked as a firefighter for nearly a decade,” protecting his community and his neighbors right here in Staten Island,” added the organization’s chairman and CEO, Frank Siller. “He knows first-hand the risks that come with putting on that uniform. We are honored for all that he has done to support the Foundation.”
