SPOILER ALERT: The following contains spoilers for Million Dollar Secret Season 2.

Another season of Million Dollar Secret is in the books, and the Netflix show has found its next millionaire. Nick Pellechia outlasted his competition to be named the Million Dollar Secret season 2 winner, but once again it was a well-played game between all four finalists. So what do they think now that it’s all over?

In an interview with TVBrittanyF.com, Nick and his fellow finalists—Kat Ellis, Lauren Gierth and Kaleb Moon—spoke about their experience on the show. They reflected on what they learned from playing the game while keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Plus, Nick revealed what he wants to do after becoming a millionaire.

Brittany Frederick: Nick, Lauren jokingly made a comment that she hopes you don’t spend your million dollars on hair gel. She was kidding, but did you have an idea of what to do with the money?

Nick Pellechia: New hair gel for sure. Apparently it was showing on the show. [Laughs.] I just want to invest back in myself. I realized that I want to be entrepreneurial and build businesses, a couple years back. I didn’t know it was going to lead me to reality TV. But for now, just build a personal brand. Invest back into that audience and go from there.

The reason that Lauren’s joke is so funny is that it’s the best example of the camaraderie that the four of you built across Season 2. Kaleb, you set the tone for that with how genuine you were throughout the season. What is the biggest thing you learned from Million Dollar Secret?

Kaleb Moon: So much. From a guy that hasn’t left his dirt road too much in Arkansas—believing that I was good enough, and getting to The Stag, and starting this competition, and simply getting to meet such a diverse, wonderful, amazing, talented group of people. Realizing that I’m in pretty deep, and we’re playing this game, and we’re doing everything that we’ve got to do to bring home the win—but at the same time, knowing when it’s all over and the dust has settled, I’ve got 13 amazing friends.

Kat, the flip side of that is that the Million Dollar Secret Season 2 finale highlights how you were cast as the sort of “villain” of the season. What was that like for you, to be in that position?

Kat Ellis: When I was in that moment, the way I was feeling was, do anything you can to win. You’ve made it this far, you’re so close—whatever it takes, pull out all the cards. So I was trying to use my empathy card with these three and be like, every move I made was to get you guys here. Please pull me to the final three.

Lauren, you spoke about feeling like an underdog amongst the finalists. Having gone through this experience on Million Dollar Secret, did that make you feel more confident in yourself?

Lauren Gierth: I think so. I am probably not the person that the people at home would expect to be on a show like this. I consider myself to be very plain, very boring. I go to work, I take care of my kids—and so to go and do something like this definitely builds your confidence that maybe wasn’t there before.

I went in thinking, I’m just going to try and have the most fun I can, and if I can win this money, awesome. [Then] you’re going to have an awesome house at the end of this. But I wanted my kids to think I was cool. I wanted to do something that was so outside of my comfort zone. And every morning I woke up in that house going, What the crap are you doing here? What are you doing? It does give you more confidence than you had going in, especially for someone like me, who’s an underdog from the jump.

Results aside, do any of you have any favorite memories from the season that will stick with you?

Lauren: Backpack-gate. I loved backpack-gate.

Kat: Mine would probably be post-finale. The four of us just got to hang out off-camera in the hotel for the first time when the show wrapped. Getting to actually hang out with them and be real people and be like, we lied about this, we lied about this—it was so fun. I think that night made us four really close.

Nick: I enjoyed the whole journey, not just where it ended up. Just getting to know all 13 people in the house was amazing. There [were] a lot of specific instances that will stick with me, but one common theme is just the whole leading up to dinner. Everybody’s sitting at the dinner table [and] at the time, we’re so stressed out and nervous… but looking back at it, I feel like those moments kind of bring everybody together.
