COPS Spring Break finale brings the party to an end

Reality TV audiences remember COPS as one of the first reality shows, and the series is still going strong decades and thousands of episodes later. COPS: Spring Break is a collection of new episodes that—as the title suggests—follow police while they interact with various partygoers. The fifth and final episode winds the party down on Friday, April 19, but it’s going out with a bang.

The episode is entitled “Spring Break Wipeout,” and many of the stories have to deal with alcohol. In one county, a teenager walks up to a deputy clearly holding a beer. Elsewhere, a group of would-be partygoers learn that they’ve arrived at a non-alcoholic beach, and a young man will have to explain to his mother how he was cited for an open container. TVBrittanyF.com has a promo clip from the episode that you can watch at the end of this article, as COPS: Spring Break features surprising stories and plenty of people who need to party a little bit less.

COPS has been part of the television landscape since 1989, when it originally aired on FOX. It ran there until 2013, then was picked up by Paramount Network (then known as Spike TV) for a second run between 2013-2020. New episodes are currently streaming online via the FOX Nation streaming service, the show’s home since 2021. There have been 36 seasons and over 1100 episodes featuring law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.
