The fourth season of NBC‘s Transplant isn’t taking it easy on Bash and Mags—as evidenced by this exclusive first look at Thursday’s new episode.

Season 4 has made fans of the medical drama happy now that Bash (Hamza Haq) and Mags (Laurence Leboeuf) are finally a couple. And Episode 7, “Torn,” does indeed feature another cute moment between the duo as they get their day off to a good start. It’s exactly the kind of picture-perfect scene that TV fans want for all of their favorite couples. So what could possibly go wrong? You’ll have to watch the exclusive video below to find out, and then tune into the episode tomorrow to see what happens next.

Elsewhere in this episode, per the official synopsis: “Bash is contacted due to his unique expertise in gas poisoning to help save victims of a chemical spill. June’s recent medical procedure takes a toll. Dr. Devi deals with the fallout of an elderly patient left unattended.”

Transplant Season 4—which is also the show’s final season—has been a season of continued growth for all of the characters. While it’s been great to see Mags and Bash together after all that time spent pining, fans also knew that their happy ending wouldn’t come without challenges, and have been able to see their relationship evolve in a way that isn’t all fluff and rainbows. After all, this is the same show that once stranded Theo in a forest for a long time, so it’s not afraid to take chances with its characters. This exclusive clip is a perfect example of the show’s ability to give viewers what they want, but also never rest on its laurels.
