What if you looked in the mirror and saw something different than everyone else? That’s the premise of Lulu is a Rhinoceros, produced by Propagate Content and Bento Box Animation, an animated musical children’s special about kindness, acceptance, and self-exploration. The special focuses on the sunny Lulu, who sees herself as a rhinoceros even though everyone else sees a bulldog. The animated series has cast stars like Moana‘s Auliʻi Cravalho.

Based on the book of the same name by Jason and Allison Flom, the special explores questions of identity and self-perception. Under the direction of Angela Stempel, the special includes original songs by Allison Flom and music by Golden Globe-nominated singer Leland, with original score by Jin Hyojin An and Shirley Song.
