The Paramount Network hit Bar Rescue reaches another milestone June 30 when it airs its 250th episode. Fans around the world have watched bar expert Jon Taffer travel the United States with a team of experts to save bars on the brink of collapse, and episode 250 promises to be as big as the occasion.
Entitled “Feels Bad at Philgoods,” the hour brings Jon to Pompano Beach, Florida to help a bar owner who’s eyeing retirement—except he needs to solve his family issues and stabilize his business first. Both of these things will be familiar to fans, as Jon has done several prior rescues in Florida while also routinely having to solve family or relationship issues in order to overhaul a business. “I’m incredibly proud of it,” Jon said in our 2022 interview. “Every week I get to go into somebody else’s life and help them.”
Joining Jon for the 250th episode is one of Bar Rescue‘s best mixologists: the incomparable Rob Floyd. “I’m thrilled and honored to participate in this historic and groundbreaking 250th episode!” Rob told me. “The main thing that I have learned working with Jon and the entire crew of Bar Rescue is that the show is so much more than just rescuing a bar. Jon Taffer is literally transforming lives and fulfilling hopes and dreams.
“The risk of not succeeding, of failing to rescue the bar, is ever-present. This show is authentic and unforgiving of mistakes; failure is not an option. It’s a delicate balance, and Jon excels in crafting compelling narratives and devising ingenious solutions,” Rob continued. “Looking forward to many more years of success for Bar Rescue and all those bars rescued. The most captivating aspect to me is always the story and discovering Jon’s brilliant solutions in each episode.”
